This post may cause some controversy. But I’ve read through the rules of a few blogging challenges that I’m part of, and I can’t see anything that states the contrary.
I’m also going to keep it short today. I only say as much as I need to on a topic.
There are many benefits to taking part in blogging challenges, but if you’re hiring someone else to write your posts, can you still take part? After all, you’ve not written them, have you?
But not writing them yourself doesn’t matter.
People Guest Post All the Time
First of all, if you decide to put your blogger’s name on the posts, it looks like a guest post. People guest post all the time and still take part in blogging challenges.
That means that you can post in the challenge groups and take part too.
The only thing you need to check is that your posts follow all the rules. Is it a fresh post? Does it sell a product? Are there enough words for part of that particular challenge? Each challenge will have its own rules that you need to abide by.
Nobody in the Blogging Challenges Will Know
If you end up sharing a blog post that is ghost written, how would anybody know that you haven’t written it yourself? The truth is they wouldn’t, unless you told everyone about it.
With that in mind, you can still take part in blogging challenges. You would take the credit for the posts anyway, right? As long as you pay your blogger for hire the agreed amount, then there isn’t going to be an issue?
Like with guest posting, just make sure that your post follows all the challenge rules.
Personally, I wouldn’t see a problem with you taking part in blogging challenges if you hire a blogger to write your posts. The only problem would be if your blog posts don’t follow the rules. There are many benefits to taking part in these blogging challenges, so make sure you read all the rules and follow them to reap them all!
